The Great and Secret Show just keeps rolling along from IDW. IDW Publishing’s adaptation of the Clive Barker’s book continues in July with the release of issue # 4 of the 12 part series. You should be able to find it on Comic shop shelves around July 5-7, depending on how your shop gets their books on a holiday week.

This chapter keeps on exploreing the town of Palomo Grove and is once more adapted by Chris Ryall with art by Gabe Rodriguez and Jay Fotos.

So far, this book has gone from just interesting to downright weird in just a few issues. Each one seems to not just try to build on previous issues but to also attempt to explore even more avenues in our protagonists lives. This look at a coming war between Good and Evil is a definite winner.

The story has been easy to follow, with just the right touch of creepiness to add that feeling of inpending doom for the reader while the art work is some of the most intense and interesting I have seen in a 'low-budget' book. This whole thing is simply first class and is not to be missed.

If you are a fan of Barker, or just a fan of horror that looks at people as well as 'things' this book is not to be missed.
