I really liked the first HIGHLANDER film. I thought it was cool, well done and quite original. Then they made the other HIGHLANDER films and there was the whole, from another planet, shtick going on and it got dumb real fast. This comic deals with the Highlander character of McLeod and his past. World War II to be exact. Now I likes me some WWII action and this is no exception. I like that we get some back-story with McLeod and Kurgan before they meet in the flick that started all this craziness. Since its issue #3 I came in in the middle so I'm slightly confused but I thought that this was a great idea for a comic series. Since these guys are immortal unless you cut their head off we could get some great stories that span the centuries. Just stay away from that whole alien crap that ruined the other movies and you've got a pretty good comic.
