My erstwhile editor (look it up, cretins) sent me a lot of Red Sonja comics that are being done through Dynamite Entertainment. All I can say is Bravo! I have always had a soft spot for Red Sonja (Stop poking my head, it's not that soft spot) I bought a lot of the Marvel run of Conan so I was bound to run into this red haired warrior woman. What can I say? I was in a severe case of lust. The fact that she could never be touched by a man and of course that she's a fictional comic character meant little to me. I had it bad for this woman. And that outfit! Sure, she might get a little chilly, but it sure warmed me up through my adolescence. With that said this is nothing short of magnificent for Red Sonja fans. She is being given the proper treatment by both the writers and artists. The versions of her by various artists are nothing short of breathtaking. I'm glad that Red Sonja has found a proper home and I will be sure not to miss an issue from now on. You hear that, Larry? Dougie's gonna need his Sonja fix from now on. What? You can't except a starving reviewer to actually buy these things can you? Okay, in this case I might make an exception.
