I remember many moons ago a television series that was a sequel to War Of The Worlds. It had a tv budget, but
it managed to be pretty darned entertaining. Recently, Spielberg and Cruise came along and put a foul taste
in our collectives mouths with the monstrosity that they released on the world.
Now, BOOM! Studios has gone and done a sequel of their own.
I will confess that I haven't read any of the previous issues of this comic. This is the issue my editor sent
me so, this is what I will base my review on.
In one word; meh.
It's not that great. The art is so so and the writing falls in line with the art. I really don't see the need to do a sequel toa really great book that, when it's over, has done what it set out to do.
Kind of a waste of time
