The Savage Brothers #2
Written
by Andrew Cosby and Johanna Stokes
Drawn by Rafael Albuquerque (Because we all know that is a real name)
Cover by Eduardo BarrettoPost apocalyptic books can be fun, if they're done
right. In other words, lots of action, lots of zombies and some hot looking
girls to boot.
Congratulations gentlemen you've hit the trifecta.
We open out poignant tale with a guy's head in a jar explaining his plan of
destruction to a really hot woman chained to a slab and surrounded by his easily
manipulated army of the walking dead. Thankfully, The Savage Brothers show up
to save the day and then the escape is just blind luck and a lot of bullets.
Dale Savage is the long haired, scrawny, perverted talker of the pair and his
brother Otis is a mountain of muscle and likes to cause as much destruction
as
possible.
I am truly sorry I missed the first book in this series. It kind of reminds
me of the old Judge Dredd storylines that took place in the wastelands outside
of Mega City One. Even the art is reminiscent of that style.
At this rate I'm going to start buying too many comic books again and my wife
is going to beat me senseless.
