I never read the original run created by ROBOT CHICKEN genius, Seth Green, but this seems like something he would have done. You get a set of teens in college who have super powers. My favorite would have to be the Amish kid named Quaker. That and the kid who can converse with plants. As to what the comic is about? I have no idea, but that didn't stop me from having fun with it. How can you not have fun when one of the team is a talking beaver? No, not that kind of beaver, you perverts. Anyway, I might have to go back and check out the original run. This seems like a breath of fresh, minty super hero air in comparison to what the big two are putting out lately.
