God, I love my job. Really, I do; I mean it is a tough gig at time. There are some crappy Comics out there that I have to review and some really, Really bad movies and videos I have to set through at time. I mean to say. There was one where four fairly attractive women spend over an hour finally getting to the haunted house and almost 20 minutes of that hour involved them simply standing by the road.

But outside of films like that I have a job that the average Fanboy would kill to have. Sure, I don’t make any money. And women don’t flock to me when I am at conventions or walk up to me in the streets. Well, unless they are wearing a lot of leather and asking me if I want ‘A party’. But, I do get free Comic Books and movies.

And sometimes, trading cards. Which is what this is all about.

You say you want beautiful women? You say you want to see them in provocative positions, and to see them in scanty outfits that define not only their sensuality and sexuality? Well, brother do we have the card set for you.

At this years Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada Wicked Pictured showed off their first ever series of adult trading cards and they went over great. This first series, created and printed through an agreement between Wicked Pictures and XXX Trading Cards, comes with a 100 card base set and includes subsets with ‘Up Close and Personal’ biography cards, graphic action cards with scenes for Wicked videos in the ‘Hot Scenes’ subset, and ‘Award Winners’ with photos of various Wicked Girls from the films they received AVN Awards for and the ever beautiful Jenna Jameson in a special set of cards called “Jenna Jameson Anthology” showing  Jameson in some of her most well remembered Wicked performances. 

We also get special insert cards that have actually been kissed by some of Wicked’s lovely ladies in the ‘Lip Service’ set, autograph cards and cards with fabric swatches cut from clothes worn by Wicked Girls in their films. You have a shot of getting things like a lace blouse worn by Jessica Drake in the AVN Award nominated film, The Collector. And I like lace.

General manager of Wicked Trading Cards Angie Shelton seemed pleased with the response to the cards at the show. Telling AVN.com, “It’s been just so positive. A few of the responses I had this morning was ‘What took you so long?’ The fans are so enthusiastic about the cards and it’s wonderful to have them out.”

It is easy to see why they made such and impact. The cards themselves are very well done, with well lit shots and clear graphics. The cards are professional and are certainly a long way from the old days with grainy images and shoddy craftsmanship. Especially the "Award Winner" with Kaylani Lei from 'Space Nuts'. While I think her best work was in Rawhide or even in Killer Sex And Suicide Blondes but no one asked me.

The agreement between Wicked and XXX should prove to be quite an accomplishment for the two companies. Wicked Trading Cards Series One was released on January 6, 2005 to coincide with the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas and features Wicked Girls Devinn Lane, Sydnee Steele, Julia Ann, Stormy, Jessica drake, and Kaylani Lei.

According to Angie Shelton, the General Manager of XXX Trading Cards, “We are very excited about our relationship with Wicked Pictures, a leader in the adult entertainment industry. A great deal of effort is going into making our Series One a standard by which future XXX trading cards will be compared.”
