Well, well.. Kevin Sorbo shows little signs of settling down when it comes to Andromeda, the best Science Fiction story on TV now-a-day. The cast and crew make this show one of the best I have seen in a long time.
And, Inkworks newest trading card set, Andromeda: Reign of the Commonwealth continues to demonstrate why they are the best manufacturer of non-sport cards around, when it comes to TV and movies. Sorry, folks. That is just the way it is.
The Andromeda series displays all the emotion and glory of the TV show, and her cast. Each card is meticulously crafted and created to show the buyer not only what the show and the story is, but to also give them something else, a chance to relive many of the episodes they have watched and enjoyed; and even to go further if they have enough imagination. They can not only recreate the episode, but change it to fit what they might have enjoyed seeing.
That is one of the things about Inkworks cards. They are almost lifelike in some ways. You can hear the voices of the characters and see them in action in your mind.

This new 90 card set covers most of the episodes of the first 3 seasons and includes behind the scenes stuff, and episode summaries. Also, there are some nifty extras. The normal Autograph cards are here, including signers Kevin Sorbo, Lisa Ryder, Lexa Doig,
Steve Bacic, Gordon Michael Woolvett and Laura Bertram. I got the Lisa Ryder, as well as one of the Kevin Sorbo Pieceworks cards. There are one of each of these (Autographs and Pieceworks cards) per box, so be careful opening the packs.
The different items on the Pieceworks cards includes Dylan Hunt’s jacket, Shamus Harper’s shirt and Beka’s top. Since I got the Dylan swatch, I hope it was his jacket.
There are also foil cards, with 9 different cards in the "BATTLE FOR THE COMMONWEALTH” and a 6 card foil set with the crew of the Andromeda.
There are 3 box loaders that profile "THE WOMEN OF ANDROMEDA "and one special case loader card - ANDROMEDA ASCENDANT foil & die-cut card! I didn’t get either of those.
There is also available a Collectors Album and an Uncut Mini Press Sheet " BATTLE FOR THE COMMONWEALTH" with a limited number of sheets available from Inkworks. You can order either of these from the card packs or just go to the source http://www.inkworkscards.com/default.htm
